No Refunds: Once the tournament entry fee is paid, it is non-refundable under any circumstances. This includes, but is not limited to, any participant's inability to attend the tournament, disqualification due to rule violations, or any other reason beyond the tournament’s committees control.

Parents are not allowed on the grass or 3G pitches. Please stay behind the barriers at all times.
All spectators must adhere to the FA code of conduct at all times (as below). In the event that this isn’t followed, spectators will be asked to leave the stadium.

No Dogs 🐶⬇️
Unfortunately no dogs are allowed inside the stadium at both the grass and 3G pitches.
Boots/Shin Pads 👟⬇️
It is the responsibility of the Manager/Coach to ensure that players are wearing appropriate footwear for grass/3G and Shin Pads are worn at all times during games. Metal studs will not be allowed on 3G Pitches.
Food/Bar 🍺🍔⬇️
Food will be available all day at the tournament; being served inside the stadium. The bar is also open for drinks and refreshments.
First Aid 🚑⬇️
The Manager/Coach is responsible for the first aid of their players. In the event of an emergency, please contact a member of staff in the first instance.
Referees ❌⬇️
We will not accept any form of abuse towards any official, player or coach.
Players 🧑⬇️
No signed Academy players are allowed to participate in the tournament.

Weather ☀️⬇️
We would ask to please dress appropriately for the weather. We will have access to shelters/stands inside the stadium. Unfortunately Gazebo’s/Shelters will not be permitted.
Competition Format
The competition shall be named the North Somerset RTC Tournament. FA Rules and regulations apply unless otherwise stated below.
The competition is by open-invitation. Applications will only be considered upon receipt of a completed entry form and payment. Entries will be confirmed by the Tournament Organiser at least seven days prior to the start of the tournament.
Age Groups, Squads & Player Qualification
Age Groups will relate to the 2024/25 season.
Each team shall register a squad of players prior to the day of the competition.
Each team may register a squad of up to 8 players.
Each registered player shall only play for one team throughout the duration of the tournament.
Each team shall appoint a manager. The manager shall be responsible for their team being registered on arrival and being available to play on the pitch allocated at the correct time. The manager is also responsible for adherence to the tournament rules and communication of the rules to their squads players and supporters.
Abuse/Threatening behaviour will not be tolerated from players, coaches & spectators. This will lead to expulsion of those involved from the ground and/or tournament.
No signed Academy players are allowed to participate in the tournament.
Any player who is sent off or receives two yellows will not take any further part in the tournament.
To play in the tournament the minimum age is six years old. It is the responsibility of the manager to ensure their players are eligible to play.
Duration of Matches & Balls
All matches will be 10 minutes one way (including knockout fixtures for U9-U13).
In each match, the first named team will provide an appropriate quality and correct sized match ball.
In the event of a clash of colours, the second named team should provide alternative shirts/bibs.
Scores & Results
All knockout matches (U9-U13) will be decided by the teams scoring the most goals during normal time. If the score is equal after normal time, a penalty shootout will decide the winner (Best of 5).
U6/U7/U8 Age Groups are non-competitive and therefore will not have their results published. All players will receive a medal for participating in the tournament in these age groups.
U9-U13 Age Groups will be played in a league format. The teams that finish in 1st & 2nd Place in the group will progress into the Cup Semi Finals. The teams that finish in 3rd & 4th Place in the group will progress into the Plate Semi Finals.
In the U9-U13 Age Groups, if one or more teams are level on points, the team to progress to the semi final will be decided by:
1. Goal Difference
2. Head to Head Result
3. Goals Scored
4. Best of 5 Penalty Shootout
In the U9-U13 Age Groups:
3 Points will be awarded for a win.
1 Point will be awarded for a draw.
Any disputes or protests will be heard by the tournament organisers, whose decision will be final.
Playing Rules
U6-U8
1. Games are 5v5
2. Players must retreat back to the half way line for a goal kick/when GK has the ball in his hands.
3. GK’s can kick from hands or alternatively throw/roll/drop the ball to restart the game.
4. If the ball goes behind for a Goal Kick, play must restart from the ground inside the penalty box.
5. If the ball goes out on the side, the game will restart from a dribble/pass in.
6. If the ball goes behind the opponents goal line with the last touch off the opposing team, play will restart from a corner.
7. From a restart (Free Kick, Centre Kick, Goal Kick, Corner), opposition players must be a minimum of 5 yards away from the ball.
8. Players can pass back to GK to pick up- back pass rule does not apply in these age groups.
9. Substitutions can be made rolling on/off when the ball has left the pitch and the referee is notified.
For U9-U13
1. Games are 5v5
2. If the ball goes behind for a Goal Kick, play must restart from the ground inside the penalty box.
3. No Retreat Rule
4. The GK cannot kick from hands. They can throw, roll or drop the ball to restart ‘play’.
5. Free Kicks/Centre Kicks are direct.
6. If the ball leaves the side of the pitch, play will restart from a throw in.
7. If the ball goes behind the opponents goal line with the last touch off the opposing team, play will restart from a corner.
8. Back pass rule applies in age groups U9-U13.
9. From a restart (Free Kick, Centre Kick, Goal Kick, Corner), opposition players must be a minimum of 5 yards away from the ball.
10. Substitutions can be made rolling on/off when the ball has left the pitch and the referee is notified.
11. The referees decision on the pitch is final.
